Tampa Immigration Attorneys Speak at the American Immigration Lawyers Association Central Florida Chapter Conference
Christine Alden and Yova Borovska, shareholders in the firm’s Immigration practice, and Khushbu Patel, associate in the firm's immigration practice, attended the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Central Florida Chapter Conference in Clearwater, Florida, from October 23 to October 26, 2024. Christine Alden participated in a panel presentation titled “Unusual Paths to Permanent Residence,” where she discussed unique and creative strategies for obtaining permanent residency in the U.S. Yova Borovska was on the panel for “The New Frontier: Recent Developments in the PERM Process,” which focused on the latest developments in Labor Certification (PERM) cases, particularly following the implementation of the new ETA 9089 Labor Certification form by the U.S. Department of Labor.
