Five Attorneys Named 2014 "Lawyers of the Year" by The Best Lawyers in America

Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as the "Lawyer of the Year." The following attorneys were selected in their respective practice areas:
Carl Joseph Coleman has been named Best Lawyers' 2014 Fort Myers Litigation – Real Estate Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Coleman is president of the Firm and Office Managing Shareholder of the Fort Myers office. He practices in both state and federal trial courts in business litigation, including contract disputes, business dissolution, restrictive covenants, wrongful discharge, and franchise disputes, in addition to real estate and probate litigation. Mr. Coleman is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator.
Richard A. Jacobson has been named Best Lawyers' 2014 Tampa’s International Trade and Finance Law Lawyer of the Year. His legal practice includes representation of foreign clients seeking pre-residency tax planning assistance; coordination of U.S. tax and immigration planning; foreign investors in U.S. real estate (FIRPTA)and other business ventures. Mr. Jacobson is a Certified Public Accountant and is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in International Law.
Rhea F. Law has been named Best Lawyers' 2014 Tampa Administrative / Regulatory Law Lawyer of the Year. Ms. Law is Chair of the Board and CEO of Fowler White Boggs. She has more than 30 years’ experience in government, environmental, administrative & land use representation. Rhea’s practice has grown to include representation of some of the largest mixed-use development projects in the State of Florida. Her representation of developers, landowners, governments, businesses and industries has covered a full range of permitting, entitlement, approvals, and policy creation and implementation.
Andrea E. Zelman has been named Best Lawyers' 2014 Tampa Litigation - Land Use & Zoning Lawyer of the Year. Ms. Zelman concentrates her practice in land use and environmental law, including zoning matters, developments of regional impact, comprehensive land use plans, development agreements, annexations, transportation issues, CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfield redevelopment, environmental litigation and representation before local, state and federal agencies.
