Buchanan Attorneys Take the Helm of South Asian Bar Association of Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (January 2025) - Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that two of its attorneys have been named to the South Asian Bar Association of Philadelphia (SABA-Philly) Board of Directors.
David Eapen, associate in the firm's Corporate section has been named President of SABA-Philly, with Sarina Aghazadeh-Alavi, associate in the firm's Real Estate section elected to serve as Secretary. Both Eapen and Aghazadeh-Alavi have been active with SABA-Philly, previously serving as Vice President of Gala and General Director respectively.
"I'm excited to lead an organization committed to advancing the interests of South Asian legal professionals and fostering a strong sense of community. I am particularly excited about engaging with our community and collaborating with the new board to create initiatives and programming that truly resonate with our members," shared Eapen.
SABA-Philly is the premier organization supporting South Asian legal professionals in Philadelphia. The group is focused on providing professional development for members and works to promote access to justice and civil rights for the South Asian community.
In support of SABA-Philly, Buchanan will serve as the official host for 2025 programming, donating office space for the organization's meetings and events.
