Buchanan Adds Real Estate Counsel in Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (November 2024) - Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues its strategic growth with the addition of Joshua Horvitz in its Philadelphia office. Horvitz joins as Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. Horvitz focuses his practice on complex real estate matters helping clients across different industries. He represents businesses, developers, and investors in the purchase, sale, and financing of commercial real estate. He also routinely negotiates leases for commercial real estate, including ground leases for real estate development projects.

Josh’s legal skills as well as his practical knowledge of the City and regional operations will serve his clients well.
Horvitz is also knowledgeable about zoning and land use matters and assists clients with zoning variances and appeals. He serves as general counsel to condominiums and other community associations. He prepares governing documents for new condominiums and other real estate development projects. He represents private individuals in the purchase, sale and financing of high-end residential real estate. Horvitz also has experience successfully prosecuting many property tax appeals each year.
