How Xander Helps Clients

Xander is an associate in Buchanan’s Corporate Finance and Technology group. Xander’s practice focuses on an array of corporate matters across several industries.

Before joining the firm, Xander honed his skills as a summer associate at Buchanan, presenting legal arguments, working on compensation packages, and developing practical research and writing skills for legal applications. This experience has empowered him to effectively assist clients and contribute to their success.

During his time in law school, he was an elected member of Pitt Law’s Student Bar Association for all three years, eventually becoming the Student Bar Association President in his third year. He received a CALI Excellence for Future Award in Climate Change and the Law and served as a Co-President of Pitt Law’s Energy and Environmental Law Society. In addition, he took on the role of a Legal Writing Teaching Assistant and the Managing Editor of Pitt’s Journal of Law and Commerce. His dedication to client service was evident through his participation in Pitt Law’s Environmental Law Clinic, where he was the primary contact for numerous clients, ensuring the timely delivery of exceptional work.

Outside the Office

Xander enjoys getting outside, specifically biking, running, hiking, and all water activities. Being from Lancaster, PA and attending school in the Shenandoah Valley, he has developed a deep appreciation for the local environment and ecosystems. Xander also loves spending time with his family and eating or cooking food of all types.
