Villanova Law School

Douglas P. Coopersmith will serve as faculty at Villanova Law School’s Joseph Del Raso Financial Literacy Module, which will run from January 13-17. The course will allow students to recognize that financial literacy is regularly required of today’s practicing lawyers. The problem-based course will allow students to exercise creative problem solving, strategic thinking and professional judgment and learn to work effectively with colleagues and senior attorneys. By using two reality based scenarios—the purchase of income-producing real estate and the sale and purchase of a business – the module will allow students to learn to identify and understand the financial issues inherent in the practice of law.
