Raquel A. Rodriguez, a shareholder at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Miami, has her eyes on another Florida case recently ruled upon by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in the ballot ordering case.

"The implication of upholding the district judge’s ruling will be yet another in the step of having the court’s run our elections instead of having the legislative branch establishing the law and the executive branch executing it," Rodriguez said. "And that is a very dangerous path."
