Two New Bloomberg BNA Accounting Policy & Practice Portfolios Authored by Lisa Starczewski Released This Week
On Monday, December 14, Bloomberg BNA released two new Accounting Policy & Practice Portfolios, The New Revenue Standard Analysis & Application I and The New Revenue Standard Analysis & Application II, both authored by Lisa Starczewski, counsel in Buchanan's tax practice, and Stephen Rivera of Johnson & Johnson.
The portfolios serve as a detailed guide that practitioners can use to implement the major new revenue recognition standard that will impact how companies report their top line numbers.
"This new standard is having a major impact on companies and these Portfolios will provide practitioners with a roadmap for assessing and implementing it with clarity and confidence," said Rivera and Starczewski. "With no precedent for the new standard, companies will greatly benefit from the in-depth guidance and insights provided by these Portfolios, especially given their compressed implementation time frame."
