Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to sponsor the inaugural Thrival Innovation + Music Festival. The event, which will take place on September 7 in Bakery Square 1 and 2 at the heart of the Pittsburgh neighborhood of East Liberty, is hosted by the Pittsburgh Hub of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum and powered by Thrill Mill, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping promising entrepreneurs and young companies succeed.
The event will consist of three parts:
Thrival Music Festival: Headlining three national bands – RJD2, Frightened Rabbit and De La Soul, plus many more local bands.
Thrival Pit Talks: Featuring some of the world’s greatest innovators in the technology and entrepreneurship space.
Thrival Innovation Row: A Community Showcase where startups from a variety of industries will exhibit amazing projects, and over 20 of Pittsburgh’s most prominent organizations representing diverse sectors will share their resources with the community. Participants include Carnegie Mellon University, Innovation Works, The Sprout Fund, Steeltown and members from the film, media, art, television and Venture Capital Investment community.
