Three Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Attorneys Selected for Exclusive Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Programs
PITTSBURGH – February 2, 2021 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that three of its attorneys have been selected for Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) programs. Tina Hu-Rodgers, Counsel in the firm’s Life Sciences industry group, was accepted into the 2021 LCLD Fellows program. Kyle Black, Associate in the firm’s Litigation section, and Olivia Minnis, Associate in the firm’s Immigration practice group, were accepted into the LCLD Pathfinder program.
“Our firm is a proud member of LCLD and we remain committed to the mission of the organization – to create and foster a truly diverse legal profession,” said Lloyd Freeman, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. “By having our attorneys, of all levels, take part in the LCLD action programs, we get to help nurture and raise up the next generation of diverse attorneys who will lead our industry today, and in years to come.”
The LCLD Pathfinder program is for early-career attorneys, and aims to provide young legal professionals with leadership skills, relationship-building skills, and career development strategies. The LCLD Fellowship program has a similar mission, but is designed for mid-career level attorneys. Both programs are highly exclusive, as only two candidates are accepted into each program per year.
