The Legal Intelligencer and The Deal Highlight Buchanan’s Corporate Practice, New Co-Chair Jeremy Garvey

In a Legal Intelligencer article published February 8, 2013, new Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Corporate Section Co-Chair Jeremiah G. Garvey discussed his role in shaping the future of the firm’s practice.

While other firms have looked to international expansion as a way to grow their brands, Garvey noted that Buchanan has maintained its emphasis on the core markets of Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic region and the East Coast.

Characterizing the decision as both a strength and a challenge, Garvey explained that blending the corporate practice with other of Buchanan’s core competencies – including its energy, health care, manufacturing and higher education industry groups – will help grow the firm.

As noted by The Legal, Garvey co-chairs the section with Thomas G. Buchanan. Garvey is also a member of the firm’s Board of Directors and co-chair of its securities/SEC practice group.
