How Terry Helps Clients
Terry Canade prepares and tries civil actions that focus upon emergency equitable remedies, such as injunctions, to foster clients' opportunities to pursue their business plans in a fair competitive environment. He focuses his practice on intellectual property disputes concerning trade secret and trademark rights. He also assists clients who need declaratory and injunctive relief to surmount regulatory obstacles to participating in competitive marketplaces.
For financial services clients, Terry pursues and defends against claims in emergency actions before courts and arbitration panels throughout the nation concerning trade secret and restrictive covenant issues, when executives and agencies switch affiliations.
For food and drug clients, Terry pursues and defends against claims among competitors regarding allegedly improper labeling and advertising; defends against consumer claims for improper labeling; and pursues equitable remedies to challenge government action.
For manufacturing and service clients, Terry pursues and defends against claims for trademark, trade name, trade secret and cybersquatting rights involving former authorized dealers, licensees and executives.
For corporations and stakeholders, Terry pursues and defends against claims that impact the control and value of interests in privately held corporations.
