Steelers President Arthur Rooney II to be Honored with the PAJC Community Impact Award; Firm is Proud Sponsor of Awards Dinner
Pittsburgh, PA, April 14, 2010 — Arthur J. Rooney, II, counsel in the State Government Relations Section of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Pittsburgh office, will be honored by the Pittsburgh Area Jewish Committee (PAJC) with the 2010 Community Impact Award. Rooney, who serves on the Pittsburgh Steelers' Board of Directors and as president and general counsel, will receive the honor at the annual PAJC Community Impact Award dinner, taking place Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. in the East Club Lounge at Heinz Field. Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is a proud Diamond Sponsor of this year's awards dinner.
ESPN Radio/FSN Pittsburgh host Stan Savran will serve as master of ceremonies, while former Steelers legend Franco Harris will attend as special guest and presenter. Serving as one of its Committee Co-chairs, John A. "Jack" Barbour — Buchanan's CEO — will also be in attendance.
