Springhill Township Zoning Board Rules in Favor of Firm Client as a Result of Buchanan's Shawn N. Gallagher's Considerations; Noted in Herald Standard
An article published in the Herald Standard recently covered a hearing for a special exception permit for a natural gas compression station in Springhill Township on Wednesday, April 22.
The case was back at the county’s zoning hearing board for consideration of “additional restrictions on the special exception previously granted for the compression station located on land owned by Joe Bezjak,” reported the article.
Buchanan Energy Shareholder Shawn N. Gallagher, who represents firm client Laurel Mountain Midstream – the owner of the compression station – attended the meeting and argued that the Mountain Watershed Association should have joined the case years ago and that the continued hearing was specifically to give Bezjak time to present his opposition and additional restriction requests.
The article reported the county’s zoning board ruled in Gallagher's favor.
