Leonard Johnson, shareholder in the firm's Finance and Real Estate groups, is quoted in the Washington Business Journal article, "Shifting SBA guidance could create ‘legal mess’ for PPP recipients" about the legal problems that can result from the changing guidance regarding the PPP.

"It’s a completely different vibe, and it may be a completely different legal animal. Businesses are wondering if there is a 'gotcha' in this deal," said Leonard Johnson, a shareholder at law firm Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney PC.

"It will create a legal mess if it gets tested out. And it almost certainly will at some point," Johnson said. "I do believe it is two different standards."
