Shawn B. Cage Selected by Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as 2015 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow

Cage, counsel in the firm’s Intellectual Property section and co-leader of its Electrical Practice Group, focuses his practice on client counseling and the preparation and prosecution of trademark and patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He also has experience in drafting patentability and infringement opinions. He is a Registered Patent Agent and is licensed to practice in Maryland, as well as before the USPTO. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M College.
