Shareholder Michael J. Hanlon Joins Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, Noted in Law360, Philadelphia Business Journal
Law360 and the Philadelphia Business Journal noted in recent articles that Michael J. Hanlon joined Buchanan as a shareholder in the Labor & Employment Section.
Both articles describe Hanlon’s experience in labor & employment law. Hanlon counsels large corporate and government entities in this area of law and is experienced with labor matters concerning public education, employment discrimination and executive compensation.
In addition to the news on Hanlon, the Philadelphia Business Journal describes the strength of Buchanan’s Philadelphia office and labor & employment practice. Joseph A. Dougherty, managing shareholder of the firm’s Philadelphia office, is quoted about the plans for growth in the office.
“Our goal is to grow health care, corporate and bankruptcy. Corporate is hard because there aren’t a lot of laterals out there. But we are definitely in growth mode,” Dougherty says.
The firm’s announcement that it will launch a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. office this fall was also mentioned in the Law360 article.
