On April 19, Samantha Southall and Kenneth Racowski, joined by Susan Roach of Hewlett Packard Enterprises, presented at the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel’s 2016 In-house conference.
Sam and Ken discussed the Practical Effects of 2015 Changes to Federal Civil Rules, providing an in-depth look into the 2015 amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and their implications on the way in which parties litigate civil actions before federal courts.
The presentation reviewed the practical implications of the recent changes to Rule 26(b) regarding the scope of relevance and proportionality and also focused on the new national uniform standard under Rule 37(e) for the implementation of curative measures and/or sanctions for the failure to preserve relevant electronically stored information.
