Robert G. Riegel, Jr. Elected to the Stetson University College of Law Board of Overseers
Jacksonville, Fla. -- Robert G. Riegel, Jr., a shareholder with the law firm of Fowler White Boggs, has been elected to the Stetson University College of Law Board of Overseers and will serve a three year term beginning July 1, 2009.
Mr. Riegel is a graduate of Stetson University and Stetson University College of Law, and has served in the past as President of the Stetson Lawyers' Association and on the Deland Campus' Alumni Board. He also was selected in 1992 for the Stetson Lawyers' Association's Outstanding Alumni Representative Award.
Mr. Riegel practices in the firm's Employment Practice Group where he focuses on employment litigation, especially discrimination cases of all types, labor law matters involving unions (including NLRA litigation and arbitrations), Family and Medical Leave Act, sexual harassment cases, Fair Labor Standards Act and employment covenants (non-compete litigation). He has extensive experience counseling employers of all sizes and types on sensitive and complicated labor and employment issues. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Florida Bar and is listed in Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers, and the Florida Trend's Legal Elite.
