Rise to 55 - Business Community's Responsibility in Solving Workforce Shortages

Rhea Law, chair of the firm's Florida offices, was a panel presenter for the Florida college system's "Rise to 55" Attainment Conference, which aims to keep Florida's workforce competitive in a global economy. Rhea discussed the business community's responsibility in solving workforce shortages. Specifically, many organizations are working to increase the supply side of the workforce equation. Rhea suggested that businesses bear a responsibility on the demand side to do supply chain planning and coordination with educational institutions and other supply organizations. The conference was hosted by Chancellor Pumariega of the Florida College System and attended by all regional higher education institutions and workforce organizations, some who are our clients.
