Jennifer Oliver, counsel in the firm's Litigation section, presented during Advanced Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and TCPA Class Action Litigation 2024 for the Practising Law Institute. She presented "Plaintiffs’ Perspective on New Frontiers in Privacy and Cybersecurity Litigation: Antitrust and Securities Fraud Litigation." The program addressed the unique litigation and class certification issues when shareholders and institutional investors file suit. After attending this privacy and antitrust class action litigation panel, participants are able to:

• Understand the unique legal and procedural issues that arise when a putative data privacy class action suit is framed in terms of antitrust law, including substantive and procedural issues and how to value and settle antitrust suits.
• Identify, value, and settle cybersecurity breach, data privacy and TCPA class action suits.
