So how likely is it that businesses will have a shot at another PPP loan?

"The short answer is yes, I think some small businesses will have the opportunity to apply for a second PPP loan under a revised set of criteria," said Edward Hild, a principal in Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC’s federal government relations group. "The PPP loan program was meant as a bridge until things returned to some sense of normalcy. However, that has not happened in many parts of the country and in the meantime, many small businesses have exhausted their PPP loans."
