PA Chamber of Business & Industry's Annual Human Resources Conference - Drug & Alcohol Issues in the Workplace

Jill Lashay, Shareholder in Buchanan's Labor & Employment section, will be speaking at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry’s Annual Human Resources Conference on November 28, where she will present a program on one of the most pressing issues facing today’s HR professionals. Her presentation, “Drug & Alcohol Issues in the Workplace,” will provide attendees with a discussion about the proper drug and alcohol policies an employer should have in place, how to communicate these policies to employees, basic do’s and don’ts of drug testing, and an update regarding Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana law. Jill will also be joined by Ronay Hershey, Director of Operations at Quest Behavioral Health, for a discussion of drug and alcohol issues from the viewpoint of employers’ Employee Assistance Programs.
