Nicole M. Calabro

As Director of Legal Recruiting, Nicole M. Calabro oversees all aspects of attorney recruiting across the firm’s 16 offices.  

Nicole is primarily responsible for hiring at the shareholder and counsel level by attracting highly credentialed individuals and practice groups to strategically grow the firm’s current ranks.

Nicole advises on the firm’s expansion efforts and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Talent Officer, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Executive Vice President, Hiring Partner, and Hiring Committee, as well as, other members of firm Management, to identify the firm's hiring goals and to develop and implement the firm’s strategic plan across the firm's national footprint.

In her role as Director, Nicole partners with the Manager of Legal Recruiting, and oversees the firm’s Legal Recruiting Department, the firm’s associate recruiting efforts, and the firm's summer associate program. 

Nicole also works closely with the Director of Professional Development and the Manager of Attorney Integration to ensure that all the firm’s newly acquired talent is successfully integrated into the fabric and culture of the firm. 

Prior to joining Buchanan, Nicole had a successful career as a practicing attorney for more than 15 years at two Am Law 100 law firms, where she was an active member of the firms’ commercial litigation practice groups.

Nicole earned her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from LaSalle University and earned her law degree, cum laude, from Widener University School of Law.

Nicole is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
