The same applies to the residents of the facilities. Whether prosecuting or defending claims, having a working knowledge and understanding of the interrelationships of the law, regulations, standards and medicine is essential to properly represent clients.
The panel will outline the relevant laws, regulations, professional standards and enforcement practices, and give insight into handling cases alleging neglect, resident rights violations and inadequate care at these facilities.
