On September 24, Christopher J. Dalton participated as faculty at the New Jersey Law Journal’s In-House Counsel CLE Seminar.
Presenting to over 120 in-house counsel, George and Chris’s presentation, “Practical Tips for Dealing with Commercial Disputes: Focus on Contracts and Consumer Fraud Cases,” provided attendees with tips on how to minimize risk through carefully written contracts, accurate and proper record keeping during contractual performance and due diligence in pre-answer investigation. The presentation also included insight on conducting accurate discovery and preparing for trial, as well as advice on how to limit Consumer Fraud Act (CFA) exposure, common trends and pitfalls in CFA cases and strategies for increasing chances of victory.
