How Minji Helps Clients

Minji is a member of the firm’s Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration Section whose practice includes employment discrimination and retaliation litigation, wage and hour class action litigation, internal investigations, Title IX investigation and compliance, and Internal Revenue Code Section 127 compliance. Minji’s practice also includes drafting employment agreements, affirmative action plans, and employee policies and handbooks in compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations.  

In law school, Minji served as a student attorney and research assistant for the Boston University School of Law’s Compliance Policy Clinic, the nation’s first law school clinic focused on compliance lawyering. She also served as an editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine, a litigation intern in the Office of the General Counsel at the Executive Office of Human and Health Services of Massachusetts, and a legal compliance intern at the Massachusetts General Brigham Research Institute. Aside from these legal experiences, Minji served as an inaugural equity fellow for Boston University School of Law’s Student Affairs office under the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Engagement.

Outside the Office

Minji is a proud first-generation Korean American immigrant and a 2020 recipient of the Don H. Liu Scholarship. She has worked abroad in Korea and Spain and is professionally proficient in both languages. A retired competitive powerlifter, she continues to train recreationally and also enjoys painting when outside of the office.
