Michelle Verkh-Kent is a member of the Health Care practice group. Michelle has extensive experience representing hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, surgeons, and other healthcare practitioners in their litigation, regulatory, and compliance needs. She has also focused on matters representing manufacturers and distributors of a variety of pharmaceutical/medical device and laboratory products in litigation as well as risk assessment.
What Clients Can Expect
Michelle advises corporate clients on compliance matters involving Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, Department of Public Health, HIPAA, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, Prescription Drug Marketing Act, Federal Food and Cosmetic Act, False Claims Act, and the Affordable Care Act. She also has experience in drafting, negotiating, and amending contracts for pharmaceutical companies and CROs, including clinical trial agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, distribution agreements, and manufacturing agreements.
