How Michelle Helps Clients

Michelle K. Stacko is an associate in the firm’s litigation department.  She has experience representing clients in complex civil litigation matters.  Prior to joining Buchanan, Michelle worked at a boutique law firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she focused on high-stakes commercial and professional liability litigation.   Due to her experience, Michelle is skilled at navigating through complex issues to problem-solve for clients.  Michelle is licensed in Pennsylvania and Florida, and she plans to establish a practice in both states.

Outside the Office 

Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.  When the weather permits, she goes for long-distance runs outside.  Michelle also loves to travel and explore different cities and cultures when she has the time.

• Represented a manufacturer of pipe fittings in a breach of contract dispute involving the construction of a major natural gas pipeline in the United States
• Represented an international trust company and foreign individual in a professional liability dispute involving the drafting and administration of a trust; prepared assessment of case against accounting firm involving issues related to domestic and international trust taxation
• Served as lead counsel in a bench trial involving a breach of contract dispute and obtained a favorable verdict
