Michael P. Strazzella Presents in Point Clear Alabama on Healthcare and Government Relationships

On June 4, Michael P. Strazzella presented at the MS Association of Healthcare Executives’ “Managing Healthcare through Innovative Approaches and Continuous Improvement” seminar. His panel discussion was titled, “The Impact of ACA: How Readmission Penalties Will Affect the Healthcare Executives’ Mission.” The discussion covered topics including the Medicare penalty and how it is unique in specific states, readmissions as a measure of healthcare quality and to what extent CMS readmission penalties will affect hospital finances and actions healthcare executives can take to reduce readmission penalties.

The following day, June 5, Michael presented at the Mississippi Hospital Association’s (MHA) 83rd Annual Leadership Conference, “Game Plan for Success.” His presentation was titled, “Grassroots and Grasstops: The Intersection of Creating Lasting Relationships in Washington.”
