Lunch with Former General Counsels to the Governor of Florida - The Federalist Society

Raquel (Rocky) Rodriguez, shareholder in the firm's Litigation section and head of the firm's Florida offices, was one of three former General Counsels to Florida Governors speaking at the luncheon of Broward Lawyers Chapter of the Federalist Society on April 14, 2023. Together with Jack Heekin (former General Counsel to Governor Rick Scott and current General Counsel to Senator Rick Scott) and Jesse Panuccio (former General Counsel to Rick Scott), Rocky spoke about the general counsel’s position and memorable moments from the four years in which she served as Governor Jeb Bush’s General Counsel. Rocky is believed to be the longest-serving general counsel in recent memory. The panel was moderated by the Honorable Fabienne H. Fahnestock, Circuit Judge of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. Kyle Roberts, associate in the firm's Litigation section, organized the panel which resulted in a sold-out crowd.
