David A. Gurwin, chair of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Entertainment & Media Law Section, will lecture at the Duquesne University School of Music on the topic of law in the recording and music publishing industries on October 17, 2011.

A professional jazz pianist, Gurwin serves as adjunct professor at the Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College, where he teaches a course on Law & the Arts. He is also an adjunct professor of Entertainment Technology at the university's Entertainment Technology Center.
