Kimberly Gessner Receives Board Certification in Construction Law
Fort Lauderdale, FL – Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Kimberly A. Gessner, an associate in the Fort Lauderdale office, has received Florida Bar Board Certification in Construction Law. Established in 1982 by the Florida Supreme Court, board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Only seven percent of eligible Florida Bar members are board certified.
Ms. Gessner is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. She provides clients with a wide range of legal services in construction, business, and employment litigation. Her practice focuses primarily in resolving legal disputes through pre-suit negotiations, civil litigation, mediation, and trial. Ms. Gessner also advises clients on many preventative measures business owners can and should take relating to employment issues, when either starting a business, or wishing to improve their practices and procedures, including compliance with Federal and State regulations. She received her B.A. from Baylor University and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad Law Center.
