Kathleen Jones Goldman and Linda J. Z. Young Named to Leadership Council on Legal Diversity as Fellow and Pathfinder
PITTSBURGH – February 15, 2016 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is pleased to announce that shareholder Kathleen Jones Goldman has been named a Fellow and associate Linda J. Z. Young has been named a Pathfinder of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).
Jack Barbour, CEO, Managing Director and Chairman of the Board, chose Goldman and Young to be members of the 2016 class of Fellows, participating in a landmark program created by the LCLD to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession.
Goldman is a shareholder in the firm’s Litigation practice in Pittsburgh. She has a high-level litigation practice which encompasses complex commercial matters, catastrophic personal injury and death cases, and litigation arising out of the construction, railroad, banking and natural resources industries. Goldman handles litigation involving administration of estates and trusts, guardianships and the contesting of wills in Pennsylvania Orphans' courts and the State of West Virginia. She also represents clients related to political elections and labor and employment matters.
Young is an associate in the firm’s Financial Services practice in Tampa. Her practice consists of a variety of commercial litigation matters, including bankruptcy, business disputes, contract disputes, real estate litigation and banking litigation. She is fluent in Mandarin.
