Joshua B. Emberg

Joshua B. Emberg is the Chief Operating Officer of the firm, where he leads business operations and collaborates with firm executive leadership to ensure responsiveness to evolving client demands and competitive pressures within the legal industry. Before his promotion to COO, Josh served as the firm's Director of Administration, where he played a critical role in executing operational strategies, with a particular focus on the firm’s real estate portfolio, facilities management, outsourced services contracts, research services, competitive intelligence, business continuity preparedness, and data analytics.

Earlier in his tenure, Josh focused on practice management and directed the day-to-day business operations for the firm’s Labor & Employment, Intellectual Property and Healthcare practices. His responsibilities included driving revenue and profitability growth through strategic business planning, financial management, capacity and workflow optimization, matter pricing, compensation analysis, and lateral recruiting. He also contributed to business development, marketing, knowledge management, and legal project management efforts.

Josh began his career at Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, a full-service civil engineering firm in Central Pennsylvania, where he supported business development initiatives for their Transportation, Land Development, and Environmental service groups.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University, where he was a leader on the University’s football team and served as a liaison to the Student Athletic Advisory Committee. Additionally, Josh earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, an honor recognizing superior leadership and community involvement.
