Jonathan Vipond, III Honored by the Mental Health Association of the Capital Region
The Mental Health Association of the Capital Region honored Jonathan Vipond, III, Co-managing Shareholder of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s Harrisburg office, at its annual Festival of Hope on March 9. Vipond received the second annual “I’m the Evidence” Award, which is given to a community leader who has raised awareness and impacted the lives of people in mental health recovery.
Vipond has a long history of serving the mental health community. As a Shareholder in Buchanan’s Health Care Section, Vipond provides guidance on state and federal regulatory matters for the firm’s health care clients, as well as human services advice for non-profits, corporations, couples and individuals. Vipond has served as counsel for psychiatric hospitals and previously chaired the Blue Ribbon Commission, which helped to close the infamous Philadelphia State Hospital.
