Jennifer R. Minter Assumes New Role as Co-Chair of Buchanan’s Corporate Section
Minter succeeds Thomas G. Buchanan, executive vice president, who co-chaired the section for more than a decade. Buchanan will turn his focus to firm-wide projects and initiatives, and continue to serve his clients as a member of the corporate section.
“Jen has demonstrated tremendous leadership abilities and keen insights that resonate with clients and colleagues alike and make her a perfect fit for this role,” noted Joseph A. Dougherty, Buchanan’s CEO. “With Jen and Jeremy at the helm, I am confident they will guide the corporate section to further successes and growth, building upon the excellent foundation that has been built over the years.”
“As co-chair of the firm’s securities and SEC practice group, Jen has a proven record of outstanding client service. She has great judgment as a trusted advisor. She is a pragmatic, solution focused thinker and I look forward to her leadership as the firm continues to build a platform and talent base that drives solutions for our clients,” said Garvey.
Minter, who has been with Buchanan for 16 years, focuses her practice on a range of corporate finance matters, with an emphasis on federal and state securities law compliance, advising companies on corporate governance and board matters, securities transactions for private and public companies, private capital financings and ongoing representation of emerging growth companies.
