Jennifer is an associate in the firm’s Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration Section, bringing over 10 years of experience in complex litigation across state and federal courts, arbitrations, and agency investigations. Jennifer has experience representing employers and key employees in a wide range of industries including healthcare, financial institutions and banks, real estate and construction, insurance, and entertainment and fashion.
Jennifer has successfully resolved complex class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, claims involving sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation, and disputes involving noncompete and nonsolicitation agreements. She also advises clients on compliance matters, drafts and amends employment policies to minimize and manage exposure to risks, and assists clients in developing and implementing best practices. Her proactive approach helps clients navigate the complexities of labor and employment law while minimizing risks and achieving favorable outcomes.
Before joining Buchanan, Jennifer was an associate at Herrick, Feinstein LLP and Wrobel Markham LLP, where she gained extensive experience in complex litigation, representing employers and businesses across a variety of industries. She also participated in the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Honors Program, further deepening her understanding of regulatory and compliance matters. Jennifer earned her Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where she was recognized for her dedication to public service and leadership. She received the Dean’s Award for Public Service for her work as a guardian ad litem for children and incapacitated adults in Missouri’s Family Court and served as the Chair of the Honor Council and a manager of Washington University Journal of Law and Policy.
