Jeff Lagana serves as the firm’s Director of Information Technology, overseeing the Information Technology Services organization. Jeff drives the creation and implementation of strategic IT initiatives that align with the firm’s immediate goals, culture and long-term objectives. He works closely with attorneys and staff across the firm to deliver innovative technology services that enhance legal service delivery and client experience. His responsibilities include Information Security, Infrastructure and Network Services, Collaboration Technology, Cloud Services, End User Experience and Support.
Jeff previously served as the firm’s Senior Manager of Information Security and continues to be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of firm and client data while ensuring a robust identification, protection, detection, response and recovery posture. Jeff also acts as an in-house resource to guide attorneys and clients, assisting them in identifying cost-effective techniques to secure their data.
Before holding his position with the firm, Jeff held information security leadership and technology roles in global legal and healthcare environments. Having served as a combat infantryman in the Pennsylvania ARMY National Guard for eight years, Jeff developed expertise in problem-solving, critical thinking and leadership and was deployed to assist in the recovery efforts surrounding Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Jeff is married and the father of two girls who do a great job of keeping him busy outside the office. He received his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a minor in Information Systems from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and his Masters of Science in Information Technology Project Management from Robert Morris University.
