Intellectual Property Owners Association Annual Meeting
Sep 11 2007
The annual meeting of the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) offers a mix of educational programs, committee meetings, networking opportunities, exhibits, and guest activities. Two program days will cover topics such as cover patent, trademark and copyright issues. In addition to offering expert speakers on important topics, this year’s meeting will be particularly special as IPO celebrates 35 years in business.
On September 10, Bassam N. Ibrahim will moderate and speak at a program session titled "The Ongoing Expansion of What Constitutes a Trademark." Ibrahim is a shareholder in Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Alexandria office, where he focuses his practice on counseling domestic and international clients from a wide range of industries on many phases of trademark, unfair competition and copyright law, including the entire process of selecting and securing domestic and international trademarks.
The meeting will be held September 9 through September 11, 2007, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. For more information, or to register, visit IPO's Web site at www.ipo.org.
