Intellectual Property Attorneys Prevail in IPR Proceeding

The Patent Office Litigation team successfully defended firm client MedIdea LLC’s patent in an IPR proceeding that reached final written decision at the PTAB.

MedIdea specializes in orthopedic devices including joint replacement parts. The PTAB considered the parties’ arguments and evidence raised during trial and determined that the petitioner failed to demonstrate that the challenged patent claims are unpatentable over the cited art.
