Eric Heicklen, Shareholder in Buchanan's Litigation section, presented "Legal Aspects of Documentation and Risk Management of Social Media" at HCANJ's 19th annual Assisted Living Conference. The program addressed the implications and importance of documentation within an assisted living record pertaining to the defense of a negligence action. Additionally, it examined the potential pitfalls of social media when it comes to resident care and treatment and the defense of lawsuit.
