Federal Circuit Bar Association’s Global Series 2019 – Hawaii - Innovation in Adjudication Perspectives

Patrick Keane, executive shareholder in the Firm’s Intellectual Property section, presented at the 2019 Federal Circuit Bar Association Global Series Innovation and IP Leadership Conference in Honolulu, Hawaii.  In attendance were high ranking federal Judges from the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, Judges from key federal district courts, and leading Judges from Japan, South Korea, and Germany. The conference also included IP thoughts leaders from around the world. Patrick moderated the panel “Innovation in Adjudication Perspectives” in which federal court Judges participated with Judges of the Korea Patent High Court, and of the Court of International trade to offer perspectives on how different courts are wrestling with issues of patent subject matter eligibility and the factors leading to uncertainty in the law and unpredictability in result.
