On December 11, Barbara Binzak Blumenfeld, Counsel in the firm’s food and drug law practice group in Washington, DC, moderated a panel at the Food and Drug Law Institute’s (FDLI’s) Enforcement, Litigation & Compliance Conference in Washington, DC. The two-day conference featured speakers from the Food and Drug Administration, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General, the Department of Justice, the Drug Enforcement Administration, regulated industry, and the private bar who discussed issues related to FDA and government enforcement actions and industry’s responses to those enforcement efforts. Barbara’s panel addressed litigation against, and settlement agreements with, FDA.
FDLI is a non-profit, non-advocacy organization that provides a forum for discussion of issues related to all products that are regulated by FDA. Barbara currently serves on FDLI’s Board of Directors.
