Environmental Law Co-Chair Brian J. Clark to Speak on Two Panels at the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association's Marcellus Shale Conference & Exhibition

Brian J. Clark, an shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, will speak on two panels at the Pennsylvania Water Environment Association's Marcellus Shale Conference & Exhibition on March 9, 2011.

The first panel, "Upstream Issues," will discuss water management issues, including:

• Pad location
• Permitting and development
• Water source and supply
• Groundwater protection
• Fracturing
• Chemical Storage and spill prevention
• Onsite water and wastewater management

The second panel, "Mid-Stream Issues," will address:

• Offsite wastewater treatment
• Centralized impoundments
• Gas distribution pipelines
• Wetlands encroachment
• Compressor stations
• Waste and wastewater transport to landfills and offsite locations
• Impaired water treatment and supply
• Water and wastewater pipelines

Brian will be joined on the panels by representatives from the drilling industry, frac companies, waster and wastewater treatment professionals and other industry insiders.
