Energy Lawyers Brace for Action, Opposition After Pipeline Orders - The Legal Intelligencer

Sean W. Moran, shareholder and chair of the Firm's oil and gas practice, spoke to The Legal Intelligencer about President Trump's executive order giving two major pipeline projects a green light.

"It certainly indicates a change in direction from the prior administration to this one, where projects that are intended by their sponsors to have a positive economic impact will be looked on more favorably than previously," said Sean Moran, chair of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's oil and gas practice. "If projects are going to be approved through the federal system with some degree of efficiency, some people may think to strike while the iron is hot."
