Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney to Host Spring Labor & Employment Seminar

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's will once again host its Spring Labor & Employment Seminar. Taking place Thursday, May 6, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the seminar will cover the following topics:

• You are the jury. Watch and learn how a jury trial unfolds
• Inside the unemployment process with Craig Pontz
• Updates on OFCCP audits and affirmative action plans
• Employee releases/FLSA update
• The new health care legislation
• What non-union and union employers need to know about litigation under the new NLRB … it might just surprise you

The event will feature special keynote speaker Craig Pontz, assistant director of UC Programs Office of UC Benefits, PA Department of Labor & Industry.

The seminar will take place at the Four Points Sheraton North, in Mars, PA. Lunch will be provided for all in attendance. A cocktail reception will take place following the seminar. Attorneys in attendance will receive six substantive PA CLE credits. This program has been submitted to HRCI for review. This seminar is free, but registration is required. Space is limited.
