Sahel Assar, Emily Coyle and John Cunningham will be presenting to members of the DIFC Academy for a session entitled, "Cryptocurrencies, the View from Washington, DC: Current Laws on Capitol Hill, Sanctions Enforcement, and Tax Implications."

The course will provide a legislative and regulatory overview of the current climate surrounding virtual currencies in the United States as it pertains to legislative initiatives (and challenges) tabled on Capitol Hill, developments in sanctions law and updates with respect to IRS reporting requirements.
