COVID-19 Economic and Legislative Considerations— in Florida and Beyond

Governor Jeb Bush is a highly regarded national leader, and known for his work on Florida’s education system, his efforts to protect the environment and his achievements in improving the state's economy. He is no stranger to crisis and emergency management, having dealt with nine hurricanes and their aftermath during two terms in office.
Speaker-designate Chris Sprowls holds a significant leadership role in the Florida legislature, overseeing a $93 billion budget and driving an innovative business and policy agenda. He is a member of the governor’s Re-Open Florida Task Force. Chris serves as chair of the Select Committee on the Integrity of Research Institutions which is investigating foreign interference into United States’ publicly funded research.
