Counsel William A. Garvin Presents at Specialty Pharma Association’s 2014 Annual Pharma Conference

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Counsel William A. Garvin presented at the Specialty Pharma Association’s 2014 Annual Pharma Conference held in Orlando from April 1-3. In his April 1 presentation, Garvin discussed “Medical Foods,” and their gaining interest among Specialty Pharma companies as new products constantly enter the market place. He explained the definitions of different medical food products and the related regulatory issues behind them.

On April 3, Garvin presented a “Regulatory Updated.” In his presentation, he spoke about current issues and actions from the FDA, the DEA and certain State Boards of Pharmacy that directly affect companies active within the Specialty Pharma industry.
